The book measures 11cm x 15.5cm.


Scarce binding, yellow textured cloth, with attractive front cover featuring Tenniels White Rabbit in gilt, and patterned border. Spine with gilt title and Cheshire Cat face. Page edges are coloured yellow.

There are some signs of age, use and wear. The hardback binding is a little discoloured, the boards edges are a little grubby. Overall binding remains firm, no loose pages. The end papers and paste downs have an intentional blotchy pattern/appearance. There is some noticeable spotting/foxing/staining on the paste downs. The title page has a previous owner inscription in blue ink just above the title. There are also pensil notes on the top margin of the final page of Works by Lewis Carroll. The contents is good, clean bright and little used.


Overall remains in good reading condition, lovely scarce binding, with wonderful John Tenniel Illustrations.
