The book measures 12.5cm x 19cm.

There are some signs of age, use and wear. The brown leather hardback binding is a little surface worn, the extremities are shelf worn, four raised bands on the spine with gilt title and compartments in gilt design. Blind stamped design matching both front and rear boards. The inside covers have gilt rolled edges, brown paste downs end pages, no spliting at the hinges holding very firm. Overall binding solid with loose pages. There is some noticeable spotting/foxing/staining on the first blank end pages, and sporadically throughout the text block. Does not affect legibility of text. The first blank end page has an ink gift inscription written 1866, along with a paper photograph of a gentleman presumably the gift giver. Gold Gilt page edges remain bright, although a little dulled and worn in parts. The page just before the Holy Bible title page has a tiny outer margin tear, does not impede on text.


Overall remains in good reading condition, lovely attractive and solid binding, conveniently containing three books in one.
