Publishers green cloth with applied colour illustration on front board, gilt title and floral and stork pattern. Gilt a little darkened/dulled. Spine decoration particulary darkened. Corners bumped, top and tail of spine fraying and a little crushed. Some light soiling dotted around the cover, however overall remains attractive. Hinges firm, overall binding holding well. Prize plate glued to the ffep, dated 1920. Some age related yellowing/toning throughout, all text legible. All eight illustrations present, in good condition, mild yellowing of the margins in parts.

Overall remains in good reading condition, a scarce edition containing some entertaining Spanish Fairy Tales.
