There are some signs of age, use and wear. The hardback cloth binding is discoloured and faded across most of the surface. Top and tail of the spine has some fraying threads. Gilt title on spine is faded. Samurai sword motif on the front cover. Overall binding remains firm, no loose pages, all Illustrations present. Illustrations have tissue guards. Full page ink inscription on the first end paper. Pages have yellowed a little with age, all text and Illustrations fully legible.
Overall remains in good reading condition, lovely Illustrations and fascinating tales of the Samurai.
