Pre owned with some signs of age/use/wear. Publisher's cream cloth, overall discoloured and marked. Front cover lettered in green and with color plate matching illustration on p.76, pasted onto front cover. Illustration is marked and lightly scratched. Spine lettered in green. Boards edges are noticeably shelf worn, corners bumped and worn, top and tail of the spine well worn. Green title faded, the spine in particular. Hinges holding well, no splitting. Green lined illustrated end papers, particularly foxed. Blank end paper appears removed, cut remnants in gutter. Contents is complete, all illustrations present and good. Pages a little grubby and marked, small amount of foxing dotted throughout. No previous owner inscriptions or markings.


Overall remains in good reading condition. Appears well used, and rough around the edges. A lovely scarce edition with attractive illustrations nonetheless.
