The True Nature of the Divine Law, and of Disobedience thereunto; in Nine Discourses, tending to show, in the one a Loveliness, in the other a Deformity, by way of Dialogue between Theophilus and Eubulus.

Printed 1687, First Edition, London. Printed for Joseph Watts, at the Sign of the Angel in St. Paul's Church-yard.
The book measures 12cm x 19cm.
The are various signs of age, use and wear. The brown leather hardcover is intact and adequately attached to the text block, however is visibly worn. The leather is pitted and discoloured, all edges well worn. Spine hinges are cracked and well worn, although remain adequately attached. Red gilded title panel on spine present, although worn and separating slightly.
Front board inner hinge cracked, rear is not. Board holding well. Walsall Public Library plate glued to inside cover, with a numbered inscription. First end paper has glued remnants of removed assumed library paperwork. Title page has various ink inscriptions and numbers from many years of ownership. Rear of title page has a faint red stamp stating the book has been removed from circulation at the Walsall Library. Contents is toned, some foxing dotted throughout, complete. Red speckled page edges, discoloured.
Overall the book remains in good reading condition considering its age. The cover shows its age but remains functional.
