There are some signs of age, use and wear. The original hardback cover has been historically rebound and strengthened with new spine and end papers onto original boards and cloth cover. The cover has surface fading and wear, some noticeable discolouration, corners and edges worn. There is some age/use related page discolouration/creasing dotted throughout. All text is clearly legible. Overall contents binding is very strong, tight and complete. There are no previous owner handwritten inscriptions. Overall remains in good reading condition, a sturdy historical rebind giving many more years of life.
