A Tale of Life Among The Lowly.

There is no printed published year present, however a previous owner inscription on the inside front cover is dated 1893.
The book measures 14.5cm x 21.5cm.
Please look at all the photos for the best understanding of the condition and contents.
There are some signs of age, use and wear. The hard cover is significantly faded and discoloured, some wear of the edges and general surface. There is some occasional age/use related page discolouration/creasing dotted throughout, light brown spotting/foxing etc. All text is clearly legible. Overall contents binding appears acceptable, although when handling the book some shifting of the text block can be felt, and the front board hinge has noticeable movement developing from splitting between the inside cover and front first end paper. A front first end paper has been removed. There are previous owner inscriptions and pen/pencil markings on the inside front cover, the inscription has been glued on and written on what appears to have been the removed end paper. The page edges are gold gilded but also show some fading/wear. Overall remains in acceptable reading condition, with as described clear signs of age, use and wear.
